A business profile is available free of charge on Your Market Place. Extras such as an online shop and advertising are also available for a small fee. Your online shop allows people to order and pay online and can be used for buying products, memberships, packages, and gift vouchers. You can either connect your existing online shop or we can create an online shop for you, at a very reasonable price.

 BUSINESS PROFILES – FREE!

Business profiles provide you with your own page on Your Market Place. If you don’t have your own website, it gives you a web presence; if you do have a website, use it to extend your web presence. Your business profile offers numerous features, including:

• Your business name, logo and contact details,
• a link to your website or FaceBook page,
• up to 500 words of text,
• product lists or menus, and
• five images.

You can edit or update your business profile at any time. Update your text, change your images or upload a new product list (PDF document) and use your business profile to highlight new season's products, special promotions, or special events.

Online ordering and payment — your online shop

With Your Market Place you can either create an online shop, or connect your existing online shop to Tasmania’s Online Shopping Centre! Help your customers buy from you, when it suits them.

Your online shop provides another way for your customers to buy from you. Whether you are a butcher, a designer maker or a local retailer, your customers can view your products, place an order and pay online using PayPal. Use your online shop to sell products, memberships, gift vouchers and packages.

Interested in having an online shop? We can set you up one, and you don’t even need to have a website!

• Low fees, starting from a low $75 per annum, for gift vouchers only
• Unlimited transactions; update products, hold promotions or sales for no extra cost

Advertising

Advertisements will be listed down the right hand side of a page, with up to six advertising spots. Advertising may be placed throughout the site, except that no other business may advertise on another business’ profile.

Advertising features

There are a number of options for you when it comes to uploading or creating your advertisement.

1. Create your own advertisement using our advertisement builder – just add some text and a jpeg image (sized at 185px wide by 165px high).
2. Upload your own advertisement, which has been created for you by your graphic designer.
3. Use Your Market Place ad service for a reasonable price and a quick turnaround.

You choose where and when you would like to place your advertisement. Pricing is based upon how many months you’d like your ad to run. Advertisements can be purchased to run for 1, 3, and 6 months over a 12 month period. The more often you run your ad, the cheaper it is.

You can choose from our premium or standard advertisements.

Standard advertising

Standard advertisements occupy up to five spots on many pages throughout the site. Up to three advertisements may rotate through each advertising spot.

Casual (one month)	$85 + GST per month
Ad runs 3 months over 12 months	$80 + GST per month
Ad runs 6 months over 12 months	$70 + GST per month

Premium advertising

A premium advertisement occupies the top spot of the chosen business category. It is fixed for the period of time it is purchased. Only one premium advertisement can be listed on each page.

Premium advertisements are limited, you are welcome to join our waiting list if there is no current availability.

Your Market Place Advertising Service

We can provide you with an advertisement service to help you with your advertisements and business profile page. All advertisements will be done to specifications suitable for use with Your Market Place.

Paid advertisements - $17.50 + GST each
